About the Role
We're looking for a talented Platform/Backend Engineer to join team and help build the infrastructure powering next-generation financial modeling due diligence. You'll work at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, and financial technology, building scalable systems that handle complex financial data processing and model generation.
What You'll Do
- Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs for our financial modeling platform
- Develop cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Integrate AI/ML models into production systems with a focus on consistency and accuracy
- Build data pipelines for processing financial documents and market data
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of our platform
- Work closely with our product team to ship features that directly impact customer workflows
What We're Looking For
- Evidence of exceptional ability - whether that's in software development, working with people, or a blend of both. A degree is not required - we care about what you've actually built and what you're capable of building.
Preferred experience (but not required):
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or similar backend languages
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
- Understanding of security best practices and data privacy considerations
- Experience with AI/ML model deployment and serving
- Background in finance or working with financial data
